WHY DIET IS IMPORTANT FOR HAIR GROWTH?!

Diet plays an important role in keeping the skin and hair healthy. The foods people eat have an impact on the growth, strength, and volume of their hair.

We lose certain amount of hair every day that is normal , but when you are loose a chunk of #hair its is not normal. There are many factors that influence your hair & skin like genetic, age, hormones & nutrition deficiency. Hair does need nutrition to look healthy and grow well. While we cannot control other fact a balance diet can definitely improve you hair growth

Most common reason you may experience hair loss:

Not having enough calories:

There are men & women who go on certain diets which are extreme calorie deficit ones, which in the end leads to hair loss.

Remember that your skin, hair. nails can be treated as accessory compared to vital organ such as heart or brain. If you are not consuming enough calories to carry out important function, then there is little room for extra energy or calories to nourish you hair & skin.

Not including enough protein in your diet:

Your hair is composed of primarily of protein, so including in adequate amount in your diet is vital for hair growth. I suggest to include food like quinoa, tofu, cottage cheese, legumes , nuts etc. daily in your diet for better hair growth.

Chickpeas hummus

Inadequate iron intake:

Iron is not just for helping our red blood cells carry oxygen to cell. It plays vital role in hair growth. Try incorporating dates , pomegranate , spinach etc. in your diet or include an iron supplement in your diet.

Dates with walnuts

B-vitamin Deficiency:

All the B- vitamin plays an essential role in hair health esp. #biotin. B-vitamin plays an important role in carrying oxygen to the cells including the cells of the scalp.

#Vegans & #Vegetarians are mostly deficient in vitamin B-12 and should include B12 supplement in the diet to meet the nutrition needs.

Crush on Vitamin C:

Vitamin C is essential for hair growth as it helps in effective iron absorption. Vitamin C also helps promote #collagen production which helps in strengthening the hair strands.Include oranges, bell peppers, sweet limes, lemon , berries etc. in your diet. Vitamin C is a strong antioxidant which protect hair strand from oxidative stress.

Oranges

Zinc:

Zinc plays an important role in hair tissue growth and repair. It also helps keep the oil glands around the follicles working properly.

Vitamin E:

Like vitamin C, vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps combat oxidative stress by neutralising free radicals.Vitamin E also protects areas of the skin, like the scalp, from oxidative stress and damage. Damaged skin on the scalp can result in poor hair quality and fewer hair follicles. #Avocados , sunflower seeds, spinach, almonds etc. are amazing sources of vitamin E that you should include in your diet

Avocado

Bottom Line is: What you eat can have a huge effect on the health of your hair.

Fortunately, correcting a deficiency in any of these nutrients may help treat hair loss and promote the rate of hair growth.
